Air France launches WeChat Pay for its Chinese clients

Beijing, September 26th – Air France now offers her customers the opportunity to pay via WeChat Pay. Many other new services will soon be announced before the end of the year.
Air France was among the first airlines to open a WeChat account and among the first ones to offer a large range of local payment including Alipay and CUP. After having launched a brand new H5 homepage in February proposing bookings, check in and flight status, Air France is now strengthening its presence on WeChat with a new option:

WeChat Pay

The WeChat Pay option is now available on PC website, and soon on mobile. And there is no service fee for WeChat Payment if you book an air ticket with airfrance.com.

And many new features soon available…

-When customers get to the check in step on our website, an option for receiving flight notifications and also boarding passes via WeChat will be proposed. This way they can be informed about their flight status, their gate information or information about their luggage.

- Air France and KLM will soon offer you the possibility to pay with your WeChat Pay /Ali pay and China union pay at our 7 gateways from China, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Wuhan and Xiamen, fully adapted to meet Chinese customers’ payment habit.
